ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Reddies faced off against the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tonight, falling to them 89-72.
The Reddies (6-1, 2-1) were led tonight by
Natalie Cardenas, who scored 24 points, who was 8-18 from the floor, and 8-11 at the free-throw line.
Jayla Lewis followed with 11 points on the night, and
Grayson Fairless added 10. Fairless led the Reddies with six rebounds, while
Brynlee Huggins provided five. Lewis provided the most assists with three, while five other Reddies each added one.

Arkansas Tech took an early lead, 9-2 before the Reddies could mount an offensive attack. With 3:16 left in the quarter, the Reddies tied it 13-13, but was unable to hold the lead, as Tech led 20-19 after the first.
The Golden Suns kept the pressure and the lead, and the Reddies were unable to keep up, going into the half behind 43-41.
The third quarter remained in control of the Golden Suns, with the Reddies only able to tie it 50-50 with 4:40 left in the quarter. While the Reddies fought hard, they couldn't recapture the lead, and trailed 67-53 going into the final quarter.
In the final quarter, the Golden Suns held off any form of Reddie comeback, and Henderson State fell 89-72.
