ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Reddies roll past the Tigers at home for Division 1 doubleheader victory, earning a 2-1 win in game one and a 3-2 victory in game two.

As the Reddies head into the final two GAC series of the year HSU picked up two wins versus Grambling State before heading to Weatherford for the series versus Southwestern.

Makenna Keeton rolled in the first game versus the Tigers, pitching a complete-game gem. Keeton allowed just one unearned run on six hits while striking out three, Keeton improved to 7-6 with the victory.

On offense the Reddies saw contribution from a handful of bats.
Raylee Carey proved to be the difference, hitting an RBI single in the fourth.
Justine Burch,
Macy Hoskins and
Josie Copeland each contributed in the win, Burch singled to center, advancing to second and scoring
Jay Albiter. Hoskins went 2-for-3 with a run scored while Copeland added a key hit and scored what proved to be the game winning run.

In the second game of the day Albiter delivered one of her best performances of the year, going 2-for-3 with a solo home run in the third and a double later in the fourth.
Kaylin Kauffman went 1-for-1 in a pinch-hit appearance while
Mackenzie Williams went 1-for-1 as well with a run scored and a walk.

In the circle,
Jersey Cabana continued her impressive season with a complete-game win, Cabana allowed just five hits and two runs while striking out three. While the Tigers threatened late Cabana earned the win, improving to 9-2.
With the sweep, Henderson State improves to 25-20 overall and will look to carry momentum into the GAC series versus SWOSU beginning on Thursday at 3 p.m.
