ALVA, Okla. – The Reddies faced off against #15 ranked Northwestern Oklahoma State today, falling to the Rangers 68-47.
(RV) Henderson State (9-3, 5-3) were led today by
Marlee Raby, who scored 14 points, shooting 5-9 from the field.
Natalie Cardenas added 11 points, while
Riley Samples provided six.
Grayson Fairless led the Reddies with seven rebounds, while Raby and Cardenas provided three. Samples led the Reddies in assists with two, while defensively, Raby recorded two blocks, while three Reddies had two steals each to lead the team.

The Rangers were the aggressors early, scoring 13 straight points to take the lead, before Fairless scored two to put the Reddies on the board. The Reddies were only able to muster five more points, while the Rangers scored eight to hold the score at 21-7 going into the second quarter.
Henderson State came alive in the second quarter, scoring ten points, while limiting Northwestern to only 13, to narrow the score to 34-17 going into halftime. Cardenas scored five points to lead the Reddies in the second quarter.
In the third quarter, The Reddies scored 11 points, led by Raby, who scored four. Henderson State limited the Ranger offense to only 10 points in the third quarter, and a shooting percentage of 14.3. The score sat at 44-28 going into the final quarter.
Northwestern kept up the pressure, scoring four straight points to begin the fourth, before the Reddies got on the board. While Henderson State fought hard, They were unable to catch up to the Rangers and fell 68-47.
