ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Reddie Tennis faced off against Angelo State today, ultimately falling 5-2 after the Singles match ups struggled.
Doubles
The Reddies got the match started with the first collegiate loss for
Jordan Parker and
Emilia Nowak, as the new No. 1 pairing fell 6-0. The rest of the Reddies rallied, with both pairings securing wins to earn the point for Henderson State.
Adiya Abdugappar and
Jenna Kate Bohnert won 6-2, while
Angela Dorado Marin and
Kristina Kozlova defeated their opponents 6-4.
Singles
In the singles matches, Nowak secured the only win for Henderson State in the No. 2 position, defeating Anna Wache in a tightly contested 2-6, 7-5 (1-0).
