2014: Finished season with a 5-4 record and a 3.99 ERA . . . Struck out 35 batters in 65.1 innings of work . . . Went seven innings allowing just three hits while striking out six batters in a 3-1 win over Northwestern Oklahoma . . . Also picked up conference wins over Arkansas-Monticello, Southeastern Oklahoma, Southern Nazarene and Harding.

College: Attended University of Central Arkansas and played at Northeast Texas Community College, and Pratt Community College.

Prep: Lettered four years at Redwater High School . . . Had a .476 batting average, a .534 on base percentage, and a 2.23 ERA with a perfect 7-0 record during senior year . . . . Honors include being named the District 12-2A MVP, was a member of the  TXSWA All-State Team, First Team All-Area Outfield, 2010 All Bowie County Pitcher of the Year,  2009 District 12-2a First Team All-District outfielder and 2009 All Bowie County Team . . . In the summer of 2009 he attended the University of Oklahoma Elite Prospect Camp (Fastest at Camp 6.83 - 60 yard dash) and hit .367 at the camp in five games with a triple and two doubles.

Personal: Born April 17, 1992 . . . Son of Mark Lorance and Sherri Smith, step-parents are Don Smith and Kristi Lorance . . . Has two brothers, Cody and Manue . . . Favorite professional team is the Texas Rangers.
