Biography
2018-19: Named First Team All-GAC. . . Started all 29 games for the Reddies. . . Led Henderson State with 15.1 points per game, 4.6 assists per game, 1.8 steals per game, and shot a career-high 80.3 percent at the free throw line. . . Finished fifth in the GAC in scoring, second in assists, and eighth in free-throw percentage. . . Became the 13th member of the 1000-point club at Henderson and was named GAC Player of the Week in one of her best performances of the season when she scored 27 points on 10-for-17 shooting including 2-for-2 from 3-point range and 5-for-6 from the free throw line while pulling down 10 rebounds, dishing six assists and blocking three shots in a 94-92 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State (Dec. 18). . . Poured in a season-high 31 points on 9-for-16 shooting and a career-high 13 made free throws in the 84-77 win against Harding (Dec. 8). . . Notched one of her two double-doubles on the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Reddies prevailed at Arkansas Tech 70-62, their first win in Russellville since the 2005-2006 season (Dec. 1). . . Opened the season with three straight 20-point games and scored in double-figures 22 times. . . Jones will enter her senior season ranked third All-Time in Henderson State Women’s Basketball history in assists (338), fourth in scoring (1283), and sixth in steals (156).
2017-18: Started 28 of 29 games for the Reddies . . . Named First-Team All-GAC after leading the Reddies in scoring, assists, and steals. . . Averaged 16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game. . . Finished fourth in the GAC in scoring and field-goal percentage (48.7%), and was a top-ten finisher in assists and steals. . . Totaled double figures in 25 of 28 games . . . Poured in a career-high 37 points on 15-23 shooting after playing all 40 minutes in a 79-70 win over Southeastern Oklahoma. . . Scored an efficient 25 points on 7-11 shooting and a season-high 11-15 free throws as the Reddies prevailed 82-78 at East Central. . . Collected her only double-double of the season vs Southern Nazarene with 18 points and 11 rebounds. . . Scored 14 points on 5-7 shooting in the Reddies victory over Ouachita Baptist in the quarterfinal of the GAC Tournament.
2016-17: Started in 25 of the 27 games she played in as a true freshman for the Reddies . . . Named Great American Conference Freshman of the Year and an Honorable Mention All-GAC selection . . . First Reddie since 1996 to be named Conference Freshman of the Year . . . Averaged 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and two steals per game . . . Finished eighth in the GAC in scoring and led all freshman scorers . . . Second in the conference in steals (54) and steals per game . . . Recorded the third triple-double in GAC history with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against Northwestern Oklahoma . . . Hit 10-of-13 free throws against NWOSU . . . Named GAC Player of the Week on Dec. 5 after having 22 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals, including the game winning basket with just over a minute remaining, in a 74-72 win over East Central and a double-double against Southeastern Oklahoma with a 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 92-84 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State. In the two victories, Jones shot 54 percent from the floor . . . Scored 10 points in her first collegiate game against Southwest Baptist . . . Recorded a career-high 23 points against Oklahoma Baptist, Ouachita Baptist and Southern Arkansas . . . Totaled 22 points against East Central.
PREP: Three-year letterwinner at Fayetteville High School . . . Was All-State senior year and the team's leading rebounder as a junior . . . Part of the 2015 state title team . . . Also a four-year letterwinner in track . . . Two-time 400m state champion who also won the 200m and was named All-State three times.
