Biography

2011: Hit for a .269 average and had a .418 slugging percentage . . . Went 4-for-4 in a game against Delta State . . . Was 5-for-8 in a double header against Southeastern Oklahoma having three doubles, a home run and 8 RBI . . . Named GSC Player of the Week on May 2 after going 10-for-14 for a .714 average and also slugged for a 1.286 percentage in games against SEOSU and DSU . . . Ended season going 13-for-18 over the last five games of the year . . . Also had a 3-4 record on the mound for a 4.88 ERA in 62.2 innings of work . . . Fanned 52 batters and totaled 22 walks.

COLLEGE: Played at Texarkana Junior College . . . Averaged .320 with six home runs his senior season . . . Was a member of back to back conference championship teams . . . Was named All-Conference Third Basemen.

PREP: A two year letterman at Sulphur Srings High School for Coach Jerrod Hammock . . . Batted .400 his senior season while also having a 0.98 ERA on the mound . . . Named the Conference Pitcher of the Year . . . As a junior he hit .410 and was named the MVP for Class 11-4A and was an All-State 2nd Base selection . . . Also was a football standout, lettering three years . . . Team won a District Championship . . . Earned First-team all-district his junior and senior seasons and All-State Linebacker (Honorable Mention) in 2007.
