Alan Hall begins his sixth year as Henderson State's assistant baseball coach in 2024-25. Prior to his appointment to full-time assistant, Hall spent two years as the Reddies' graduate assistant in 2017 and 2018.
In his lead assistant role as the primary hitting coach, Hall saw HSU post 183 extra-base hits in 2023 for third among all GAC schools. In 2022, the Reddies recorded 197 extra-base hits, including 121 doubles.
Hall proved instrumental in the Reddies' run to the 2021 GAC Tournament Championship. The conference title was the first for the program in 39 years. During the historic spring season, Henderson hit 52 home runs in 46 games and finished with a team batting average of .306.
Before joining the coaching staff, Hall was a standout center fielder for the Reddies in 2016 and 2017, where he started 76 games, scored 56 runs, ripped 16 doubles and carried a .283 batting average. As a senior in 2017, Hall hit leadoff for Henderson, led the GAC in stolen bases with 33 and was a Second Team All-GAC selection.
Hall graduated with his bachelor's degree in May of 2017 and received his master's degree in sports administration from Henderson in May of 2019.Â
