Biography

2020: Did not compete due to injury.

2019: Started 36 of HSU’s 38 games. . . Finished the season with a .302 (38-126) batting average and an impressive .390 on-base percentage. . . An extremely tough out, Colasanto hit safely in 11 of his final 12 games of the season. . . Notched seven multi-hit games including a 3-for-6 day with two runs scored and an RBI in a 20-10 victory over Ouachita Baptist (Apr. 27).

2018: Appeared in 28 games for the Reddies, starting 23 of them. . . Posted a .299 (23-77) batting average, a .375 on-base percentage and a .364 slugging percentage. . . Racked up eight multi-hit games. . . Went 3-4 with a double and 3 RBIs in a 15-1 win at East Central.

PREP: A two-time letterman at Bishop Lynch High School in Texas . . . Had a perfect fielding percentage during his senior year along with a .330 batting average . . . All-conference selection . . . Voted second team all-district in his junior season.
