Biography

2020: Appeared in four games for Henderson . . . Held a 1-0 record in the shortened season. 

2019: Made 17 relief appearances for the Reddies. . . Finished the year 5-1 with a 3.00 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 30.0 innings. . . His 17 appearances, 13 games finished, five wins and four saves all led the team. . .  Youngblood was even better in GAC play, amassing a 2.35 ERA during 23.0 innings. . . Picked up the win after allowing just one hit and notching two strikeouts over 3.0 innings in a 4-3 victory at Oklahoma Baptist (Mar. 1). . . Took the win and was the only pitcher to register a full inning of work without giving up a run in the Reddies’ 20-10 slugfest victory over Ouachita Baptist (Apr. 27).

2018: Did not make an appearance for the Reddies. 

2017: Made his college debut against Arkansas-Fort Smith where he pitched one scoreless inning . . . Struck out a season high four batter in two scoreless innings against Union.

PREP: Three-year letterwinner at Lakeside High School . . . 2016 5A Pitcher of the year . . . Three-time 5A All-Conference selection who was also 5A All-State as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: Born June 3, 1998 . . . Son of Kevin Youngblood and Jenna Long, as well as stepfather Scott Long . . . Has three siblings, Hunter, Brad and Brandy . . . Favorite athlete is Ricky Williams . . . Favorite professional team is the Boston Red Sox . . . Enjoys hanging out with friends, going to new places and playing golf in his spare time . . . Majoring in Business.
