COLLEGE:  Played two years at North Arkansas College where he earned all-conference honors . . . Hit for a .430 average his sophomore year including 38 RBI and 25 doubles leading the Pioneers to a 42-12 record . . . Compiled a .462 average as a freshman with 42 RBI and 20 doubles.

PREP: Prepped at Sheridan High School where he earned All-State, All-Southeast Arkansas and All-6A South honors as a senior . . . Hit for a .420 average with 38 RBI in his final season with the Yellow Jackets . . . Also was an All-State linebacker having 136 tackles.
