Kai Morgan begins his first season as assistant men's basketball coach in 2025-26.
He comes to Arkadelphia after a playing career that ended at Dillard University (La.). In his one season with the Bleu Devils, Morgan played in 16 games, started in five, and averaged 2.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game. He recorded a season-high 10 points against Wiley College.
Morgan's career also included stints at Coastal Alabama College, Hill College, and Delgado Community College. At Delgado, Morgan averaged 19.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, all while shooting 41 percent from the field and 33 percent from three-point range. His numbers earned him conference player of the year in his only season with the Dolphins.
A native of Hammond, Louisiana, Morgan is one of three siblings; his brothers, Malik and Kolby, each played college basketball at Tulane University and are currently playing overseas.
