PREP: Lettered four years in softball at Forney High (Forney, Texas)...Earned numerous honors for softball during her four years at Forney...As a senior was named the team's MVP, First-Team All-District 15-4A, and District 15-4A All-Academic team while leading her team to a semi-finalist apperance in the Texas State Tournament...As a junior, she sported a .500 batting average on her way to being named the district Offensive MVP...That same year, she was a Texas Sports Writers Association First-Team All-State selection and was a Dallas Morning News First-Team All-Area player while her team was a state finalist...She also was named to the All-State Tournament First-Team as a junior...Earned First-Team All-District 15-4A honors as a sophomore after batting .387...Also earned District 15-4A All-Academic honors in her sophomore season.
