2018: Made 10 pitching appearances for the Reddies, starting 8 outings before her season ended with an injury. . . Finished with a 6-2 record with a 2.40 ERA in 49.2 innings pitched, striking out 42 batters in the process. . . Pitched six complete games. . . Limited opposing hitters to a .196 batting average. . . Opened the season with a three-hit complete game shutout of Southwest Baptist. . . Threw an eight-inning shutout, notching six strikeouts in HSU’s 1-0 victory versus Missouri S&T. . . Had seven strikeouts in seven innings, giving up just one hit in a Reddies 3-0 win over Harding.

2017: Earned Second Team All-GAC Honors . . . Set the HSU career record for wins (58) and strikeouts (593) . . . Named National Fast Pitch Coaches Association/Louisville Slugger National Pitcher of the Week after picking up two wins against Southeastern, pitching 16 innings, striking out 19 batters, giving up just three hits and not allowing an earned run . . . In a span of seven days, Sorensen recorded four complete game wins posting a 0.48 ERA with three wins being extra-inning victories. In 44.0 innings, Sorensen struck out 52 batters while allowing just three earned runs on 15 hits. In the four contests, opponents hit for a .105 average . . . Picked up the win the third-longest game in Division II history, a 3-2 marathon against Arkansas Tech where she went the full 19.0 innings and struck out 21 . . . Followed with a 2-1 win, 10-inning classic the next day where she fanned 12 batters . . . Earned GAC Pitcher of the Week for a third time during the season after she recorded a pair of complete-game shutouts, highlighted by the fifth no-hitter of her career, a 3-0 victory against Northwestern Oklahoma. She backed up that gem with a four-hit shutout the following day, totaling 13 strikeouts in 14.0 innings and held the Rangers to a .090 average in the two games . . . Had a 2.00 ERA for the year with 208 strikeouts in 220.2 innings . . . Recorded six shutouts . . . Recorded 18 strikeouts in HSU extra-inning loss to Southern Nazarene in the GAC Tournament.

2016: Earned second team All-GAC honors . . . Has totaled a HSU record 43 career wins . . . Holds the record for career strikeouts with 385 . . . Recorded six shutouts . . . Totaled 214 strikeouts which ranks third most at HSU for a single season . . . Her 22 wins is tied for second most in a season at Henderson . . . Started all five games in the GAC Tournament and recorded a complete-game shutout win over No. 8 Arkansas Tech striking out 10 batters . . . Struckout 28 batters in 26 innings during the GAC Tournament . . . Pitched a no-hitter against Emporia State.

2015: Named Second-Team NFCA All-Central Region and First-Team Daktronics All-Central Region . . . GAC Freshman and Pitcher of the Year after leading the league in pitching wins (21), ERA (1.99) and opponents batting average at .187 . . . Picked up four wins in the circle, struck out 28 batters in 28.1 innings of work and posted a 1.48 ERA to earn GAC All-Tournament honors . . . Was nne of 25 finalists for NFCA Freshman of the Year . . . Earned GAC Pitcher of the Week three times . . . Sorensen went 2-0 against Northwestern Oklahoma . . . She recorded a no-hit shutout and nearly recorded a perfect game against the Rangers retiring 15 straight batters to begin the game before giving up a walk in the sixth-inning. She went on to retire the next six batters in order and finished with six strikeouts . . . Totaled three wins in a series against Harding which included a relief performance where she pitched 8 innings in a 5-4 14-inning win . . . In 25 innings against the Bisons, she totled 17 strikeouts and had a 1.12 ERA.

PREP: A four-year letterwinner at Sylvan Hills High . . . Led team to a conference championship during senior season and was voted All-State, all-conference, and holds the record for the schools most strikeouts during her senior year . . . She also held the highest batting average on the team and was voted as team captain . . . Defensive player of the year during junior season . . . Also lettered in volleyball and track.
