2020 (’21 Spring): Did not make an appearance for the Reddies due to injury.

2019: Played in all 33 matches and 132 sets for the Reddies as a sophomore … Racked up 200 kills and 50 totals blocks on the year … Averaged 1.52 kills per set on a .196 attacking percentage … Recorded a season-high 11 kills against both Midwestern State (Sept. 13) and Mississippi College (Sept. 21) … Had 10 kills and four solo blocks in the GAC Tournament contest against Southern Nazarene (Nov. 21).

2018: Played in 33 matches and made 21 starts as a true freshman . . . Finished the year with 143 kills, 61 blocks, and 55 digs . . . Averaged 1.32 kills per set . . . Had a season-high nine kills in the win over Dallas Baptist (Sept. 1) . . . Notched five blocks against both Christian Brothers (Sept. 8) and Oklahoma Baptist (Nov. 8).

PREP: McGruder was a three-year letter winner for Sunnyslope High School, where she was a First Team All-Region and Second Team All-Conference selection as a junior under head coach Amber LeTarte. In her final two seasons, McGruder helped lead Sunnyslope to back-to-back 5A state title games and the 2017 state championship as a senior. McGruder was also a stand-out in the classroom and was an All-Academic selection in 2016.

PERSONAL: Born April 20, 2000. . . The daughter of Myron McGruder and Taryn Neal. . .Has two siblings, Lamar and Takoya. . . Enjoys practicing photography in her spare time. . . Majoring in Psychology.
