Hailey Estes begins her second year as the women’s basketball graduate assistant coach in 2022-23.
Estes returns to Arkadelphia after playing for the Reddies under head coach Jill Thomas from 2016-2020. Estes saw an illustrious career at HSU, starting in 114 of the 116 games she played in her career.
A two-time All-GAC selection and a First Team honoree as a senior, Estes ended her career as the all-time leader in rebounds, second all-time in 3-pointers made and fourth all-time in points scored. During her senior campaign, Estes was the only player in NCAA DII basketball on the men's or women's side to lead their conference in both rebounds (309) and made 3-pointers (82).
Named the Henderson State 2019-20 Female Student Athlete of the Year, Estes earned Academic All-GAC recognition three times and was one of 14 GAC Distinguished Scholar-Athletes for women’s basketball in 2019-20.
The Conway, Arkansas, native earned her undergraduate degree in Health and Human Performance and is pursuing her Master’s degree in Sports Administration.
