Joseph Treesh begins his second season as women’s basketball graduate assistant at Henderson State in 2019-20.
Prior to joining the staff at Henderson, Treesh spent three seasons from 2016 to 2018 at Brown County Junior High in Nashville, Indiana, where he served as head seventh grade girls coach and assistant coach for the eighth grade team. During his three years at Brown County, Treesh compiled the most regular season wins and championships in school history, while also increasing summer workout participation numbers each year.
In addition to his work with Brown County, Treesh was active as a coach in Indiana’s AAU circuit in 2017 and 2018, where he was the head coach for the Indiana Flight-Crush, an age 14 and under girls AAU squad, and an assistant for the Indiana Flight-Attack, the age 17 and under team. As head coach for the Crush, Treesh guided his 14U group to the 2017-18 Western Indiana Conference title, along with several other 14U pool bracket championships. Treesh’s main responsibilities with the Attack consisted of running individual and group workouts for guards and logging various game and practice stats.
Before entering into coaching, Treesh graduated from Indiana University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Sports Administration from Henderson.
