Biography
2019-2020: First victory of the season came against Ouachita Baptist where she saw two relay wins and one individual: 200-yard freestyle relay (1:43.67) with Lauren Evans, Claire Avery, and Ardyn Wilson, 400 medley (4:04.66) with Elza Kachlishvili, Isabelle Andrews, and Elam Fulton, and the 100 backstroke (1:01.28) . . . Claimed the top spot in the 400 free relay (3:46.06) with Emily Chen, Evans, and Avery at the Hendrix Classic . . . Topped the podium in the 200 free relay (1:41.41) with Chen, Avery, and Fulton against Delta St. . . . Claimed two relay victories at the Trinity Invitational in the 200 medley (1:46.01) and the 400 medley (3:56.05) with Fulton, Kachlishvili, and Andrews . . . Delivered podium-topping performances in the 200-yard backstroke (2:18.13) and the 400 medley (4:07.49) with Fulton, Kachlishvili, and Andrews at the Henderson State Invitational . . . Pair of Top-3 finishes at the end-of-year New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference Championship in the 200 and 400 medley, each with Fulton, Kachlishvili, and Andrews, plus an individual fifth-place finish in the 100 backstroke (57.72).
2018-19: Won the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.85) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:51.75) at the HSU Invitational (Oct. 5). . . Finished second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:50.65) at the Little Rock Invitational. . . Took second in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:48.62) at Delta State. . . . Joined her teammates at the top of the podium after winning the 400-yard Medley Relay (4:11.89) at Ouachita Baptist (Jan. 25).
2017-18: Won the 200m freestyle relay (1:43.47) against Ouachita Baptist. . . Took first place in the 100m freestyle (58.13) and 200m freestyle (2:07.81) against the University of the Ozarks. . . Won the 400m freestyle (3:50.64) and the 200m backstroke against Ouachita Baptist with a time of 2:18.18. . . At the NSISC Championships, Brandenburg finished 12th in both the 200m medley relay (1:54.21) and 400m medley relay (4:06.05). . . Individually, Brandenburg placed 13th in the 100m backstroke (58.97) and 14th in the 200m backstroke (2:11.01).
PREP: Lettered four years at Concordia Lutheran High School in Spring, Texas . . . School record-holder in the 200m and 400m freestyle relays . . . Finished fourth at the state championships in the 100m backstroke as a senior . . . Also lettered three years in cheer, where she was an All-American . . . Was a member of the National Charity League.
