Sydney Green joins the Henderson State athletic training staff for her first year in 2025-26.
She is a recent graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, where she served as a trainer for the Lumberjacks baseball, cheer and dance, volleyball, women's basketball, and track and field teams, as well as working for the university's student health services.
While in Nacogdoches, she also served Angelina College and Lufkin High School, working with football and rodeo teams. Green also trained with neurosurgery, orthopedics, and physical therapy clinics.
Sydney was a Division I softball player at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. In her three years with the Golden Lions, she pitched over 330 innings, while throwing three shutouts and tossing 39 complete games. She came to UAPB from Eastern Oklahoma State College, where she appeared in 38 games over her two seasons.
A native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Green received her bachelor's degree from UAPB and her master's degree from Stephen F. Austin.
