Aungelique Sledge scored a game-high 30 points to lead Henderson State to a 79-74 win over Texas A&M Commerce, Tuesday in Commerce, Texas.

The Lady Reddies improved to 6-2 on the season with the victory over the Lions and extended their win streak to four games.

Sledge hit on 12-of-25 shots from the field while sinking four 3-point field goals.

Krystal Beachum also had a solid performance with 20 points while grabbing 7 rebounds.

Tiara Davis posted a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Dulincia Keener had 8 points and 5 rebounds.

The Lady Reddies converted on 26-of-61 shots from the field for 43 percent shooting, while Texas A&M Commerce was 30-of-58 for 52 percent.

The story of the game was rebounding as the Lady Reddies dominated the boards pulling down 41 rebounds compared to 29 for the Lions.

Henderson State will next face Texas Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas on Thursday, Dec. 19 with tip-off set for 6 p.m.
