LADY REDDIES TO FACE RANGERS

Henderson State will end its two-game road trip in Oklahoma as the Lady Reddies take on Northwestern Oklahoma State, Saturday, in Alva, Okla. with tip-off set for 2 p.m.

The Lady Reddies are coming off a 90-82 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma and enters the game with a 9-4 record overall and a 4-3 mark in Great American Conference play.

Despite scoring 82 points, Henderson State had its worst shooting game of the season as the Lady Reddies shot just 32.5 percent from the field. Krystal Beachum turned in her best performance of the season against SWOSU scoring 26 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. The senior from Mexia, Texas enters Saturday's game averaging 12.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.

After scoring just three points in the first-half against the Lady Bulldogs, Aungelique Sledge got things going in the second-half to finish with 17 points.

The junior from West Helena, Ark. continues to lead the GAC in scoring averaging 22.2 per contest. Sledge is also shooting an astonishing 45.7 percent from beyond the arc, having made 48-of-105 attempts.

The Rangers, 3-11 overall and 3-5 in the GAC, defeated Ouachita Baptist 73-56 on Thursday. NWOSU averages just 62.1 points per game while allowing opponents to score an average of 70.8 points per contest.

Kamera Bozeman leads the team in scoring averaging 9.1 points per contest. Bozeman is averaging 11.0 points in GAC games.

Kierra Gilmore and Dierra Gilmore combined to go 11-for-14 from the field and sunk seven 3-point field goals in Thursday's meeting against the Lady Tigers.

Kierra Gilmore scored 19 points in the game including going 5-for-5 from beyond the arc. The senior from Sallis, Miss. averages 5.9 points on the year and shoots 94 percent from the foul line.

Dierra Gilmore totaled 17 points and dished out six assists in the game on Thursday. Gilmore averages 6.7 points per game and leads the team in assists with 37. Henderson State played Northwestern Oklahoma for the first time last season.

The Lady Reddies won both games winning 70-57 in the first-ever meeting between the two schools in Arkadelphia. Henderson State followed with a 54-51 victory in Alva.
