The Henderson State men's and women's swim teams lost a tough meet against Delta State as the men fell 191 to 109, while the women lost 189 to 102.
Lauren Sutton began things for the women claiming victory in the 200 freestyle beating the competition with a mark of 1:57.04. Sutton also finished second in the 50 freestyle (24.88) and second in the 100 freestyle (54.14).
Jeanne Miller claimed victory in two events winning the 100 butterfly in a time of 59.23 and the 200 butterfly 2:14.49. Miller also recorded a second-place finish in the 200 butterfly (2:09.01)
Maddie Samples placed third in 50 freestyle with a mark of 25.13, with
Camille Leary finishing third in the 200 breaststroke (2:34.79).
Colton Loramore was the men's top performer claiming victory in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:45.55. Loramore finished second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:00.74 and in the 100 freestyle (48.53).
Guy Buls placed second in both the 100 backstroke (52.61) and the 200 backstroke (1:54.36), and came in third in the 200 individual medley with a time of 1:57.67.
Max Pohl had a second-place finish in the 100 butterfly in a mark 51.70 and came in third in the 200 butterfly (1:57.82).
Hunter Arnold came in second in the 50 freestyle (21.61) with teammate
Austin Bryant finishing third (22:35).
The 200 freestyle relay team of Arnold, Pohl, Laramore and Arron Villemez finished the meet with a victory by posting a time of 1:26.32.
HSU will next compete in the UALR Christmas Invitational Dec 4 through Dec. 6.
