ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Henderson State's Swim program had three swimmers earn 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District recognition, as announced on Wednesday.
Sophomore Emma Crowe of Hot Springs, Arkansas, sophomore Shelby Travis of Victoria, Texas, and junior Avery Henke of Lafayette, Louisiana were all honored with Academic All-District Selections.
Crowe competed in 10 meets during the season, including representing Henderson State at the NCAA Division 2 Championships, where she competed in the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard individual medley. Travis competed in 10 meets during the season, and placed seventh in the 100-yard freestyle at the NSISC Championships, and anchored a third-place finish in the 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays. Henke competed in 11 meets during the season. He swam leadoff for a 200-yard medley relay team that claimed first place at the NSISC Championships, and individually won the 100-yard backstroke. He also represented Henderson State at the NCAA Division 2 Championships, competing in the same individual race.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically, carry a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher, and required to have participated in at least five of team's regular season competitions this season or place among the top eight in an event at the conference championships.
