The Henderson State volleyball team fell to Great American Conference leader Arkansas Tech on Thursday night in Russellville.
ATU would use 44 kills to get by the Reddies, as HSU accumulated 32 kills during the three-set contest.
Jessie Jacoby paced Henderson State with 10 kills, while
Kaylie Pyles contributed eight.
Brea May was the lead setter dishing out 24 set assists, and
Sydney Skelton led defensively with 13 digs.
Henderson State out-performed Arkansas Tech in the service ace category, as the Reddies aced the Golden Suns four times to just three for ATU.
Kaylee Konsella would be the top performer for ATU with 10 kills, while Kaci Jackson had nine.
HSU returns to action next Tuesday at home for a second matchup with Ouachita Baptist this season in the Battle of the Ravine with first serve set for 6 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.
