The Henderson State men's basketball team fell at Oklahoma Baptist 61-57 on Saturday afternoon in Shawnee, Okla.
HSU led 26-19 at the break, but were outscored 42-to-31 in the second half as OBU completed the comeback victory.
Henderson State held a 57-56 lead with just over one minute to play before Oklahoma Baptist's Tyler Lester canned a three pointer to give OBU a 59-57 lead.
The Reddies could not answer on their next possession, and OBU's Chandler Rickey would sink two crucial free throws down the stretch with nine seconds remaining to preserve the win.
Three Reddies scored in double-figures for the contest, as
Kevin Kozan led the way with 19 points on 7-of-14 field goal attempts including 5-of-9 from beyond-the-arc.
Zydrunas Jugurtis also pitched in 13 points making 3-of-4 three-point attempts, while
Ben Marello contributed 12 points.
As a team, HSU made 21-of-44 shot attempts for 48 percent, while limiting the Bison to just 43 percent on 21-of-49 attempts.
However, OBU knocked down 12 three-pointers to just ten for the Reddies.
Oklahoma Baptist also turned the ball over only ten times while forcing 15 miscues from Henderson State.
HSU returns to action next Saturday, as the Reddies travel to Jackson, Tenn. to take on Lane College in a non-conference matchup with tipoff set for 2 p.m.
