The Henderson State volleyball team fell in straight sets to Harding on Tuesday night at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia.
Harding used a .407 attack percentage and 40 set assists to defeat Henderson State.
HSU would fall in the first set by a score of 25-19, as
Kaylie Pyles led the Reddie attack with five kills for the set while
Brea May dished out 10 set assists.
In set two, Harding would escape with a 25-18 victory over the Reddies.
Gabby Ginapp topped all scorers for the Reddies with five spikes in the second set, while
Jazmine Lowery contributed three.
Harding would claim the third set 25-16 to take the set 3-0 over Henderson State.
Ginapp finished the night at the top of the stat sheet with ten kills for HSU, while Jacoby pitched in nine and Pyles had seven.
May would lead all setters for HSU with 30 set assists and a 10.0 per set average.
Defensively,
Julianna Adams and
Sam Gardner each had eight digs.
Harding was led by Molly Howard who had 11 kills, while Emily Clayton pitched in 10.
HSU returns to action at home on Tuesday against Arkansas-Monticello, with first serve set for 6 p.m.
It will be Senior Night at the Duke Wells Center, as the Reddies will recognize lone senior
Ryleigh Thompson.
