HSU Volleyball Loses Opening Match of MIAA/GAC Crossover

Henderson State lost its opening match at the MIAA/GAC Crossover as Missouri Western beat the Reddies 25-17, 25-11 and 25-16.
 
The Reddies managed just 18 kills led by Violet Williams with six spikes, while Jessie Jacoby and Julianna Adams had five each.
 
Sydney Skelton had a team best 12 defensive digs with Williams having 10.
 
The Griffons, 8-2 on the season finished with 40 kills and had a hitting percentage of .286.
 
Henderson State will play a pair of matches on Saturday, beginning with a tilt against Northwest Missouri at Noon, and a 2 p.m. contest against Nebraska-Kearney.
