Henderson State lost a hard fought match to Arkansas-Monticello as the Cotton Blossoms beat the Reddies 25-21, 25-23 and 25-19, Tuesday in Monticello, Ark.

A pair of Reddies had double-digit kills with Jessie Jacoby leading the way with 14, while Violet Williams had 10.

Ryleigh Thompson recorded 15 defensive digs and Brea May totaled a team-best 26 set assists.

Henderson State combined for 35 kills a posted a .050 hitting percentage, while UAM hit for .189 also having 35 kills.

Henderson State will return home for just the second time this year as the Reddies play host to Southern Arkansas on Thursday with the first serve set for 6 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.
