Jessie Jacoby totaled 19 kills to lead Henderson State to a straight set win (25-18, 25-14, and 25-22) over Central Baptist, Tuesday at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.
Kristee Porter, in her first season as head coach, picked up her first win at Henderson State as the Reddies improved to 1-4 on the year.
Jacoby ended the match with a .351 attack percentage while also having 9 defensive digs.
Violet Williams had a stout .533 attack percentage with 8 kills in 15 attempts, while Kylie Pyles hit for a .364 percentage with 9 spikes.

Brea May was instrumental in the victory having 35 set assists along with 4 service aces and 6 defensive digs.
The Reddies had an impressive .379 team attack percentage which included 45 kills and only 9 attack errors.
Central Baptist, 5-8 on the year, hit for a .143 percentage with Taylor Graham leading the way with 6 kills.
Henderson State will next travel to Kansas City, Mo. to participate in the Rockhurst Invitational beginning on Friday with matches against McKendree and Christian Brothers.
