Red Wave Swims Past Ouachita Baptist

COMPLETE RESULTS

Henderson State dominated Ouachita Baptist as both the Red Wave men's and women's swim team cruised to victories Friday at the Duke Wells Center.

The Henderson women won every event to win 143-28, while the men claimed 11 events for a 168-73 victory.

Lindsey Butler won a pair of events claim victories in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.91 and while swimming the 100 freestyle in a time of 54.24.

Eleonora Unanova recorded a time of 2:01.54 to win the 200 freestyle while also winning the 100 backstroke, touching the wall in 1:01.97.

Mandy Sagner won the longest event of the meet in the 1000 freestyle in a time of 12:10.94.

In the 400 individual medley, Grace Conlon touched first posting a time of 4:51.91. Conlon also had the best time in the 500 freestyle of 5:34.50.

Also claiming wins were Kristin McCasland in the 100 butterfly (1:02.58) and Sarah Helton in the 100 backstroke (1:11.40).

In the 200 medley relay, the foursome of Zoe Peak, Helton, McCasland, and Maddie Samples swam to victory having a time of 1:46.39.
 
Samples, Unanova, McCasland and Butler posted a best time of 1:41.67 in the 200 freestyle relay.

Rachel Ferguson scored 179.50 points to win the 1-meter diving event for the Red Wave. 

Hunter Arnold paced the Red Wave men winning both the 50 freestyle (21.91) and 100 freestyle (47.76).

Also claiming two individual wins was Erwan Mahoudo in the 200 freestyle (1:44.28) and the 500 freestyle (4:46.24).

Colton Laramore had a time of 9:54.75 to win the 1000 freestyle, while Kent Eldreth won the 100 butterfly in a time of 52.41.

Bogdan Pochynok also posted a victory in the 100 backstroke having a time of 52.38.
 
 
Henderson won both relay events with the quartet of Pochynok, Joshua Lawson, George Emmins and Caleb Murders claiming the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:36.68, while Arnold, Laramore, Pochynok and Murders having a time of 1:28.04 in the 200 freestyle relay.
Kyle Englebert won both diving events scoring 236.55 points in the 1-meter and 297.55 points in the 3-meter event.
