COMPLETE RESULTS
The Henderson State men's swim team was edged by Delta State as the Statesmen beat the Reddies 151-149, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center.
Delta State also claimed the women's dual meet winning 212-86,
Kyle Englebert claimed both diving events for the Red Wave winning the 1-meter dive with 266.03 points and returning later to claim the 3-meter dive with 183.97 points.
The 200 medley relay team of
Bogdan Pochynok,
Kent Eldreth,
George Emmins and
Caleb Murders started things in the swimming events with a victory by posting a time of 1:35.26.
Pochynok would win the 100 backstroke with a time of 51.97 and place second in the 200 backstroke by touching to wall in 1:57.57.
Teammate
Garrett Sullivan won the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:57.57, while Emmins claimed the 100 butterfly in 51.52. Emmins also finished second in the 200 butterfly (1:58.65).
Erwan Mahoudo was a workhorse for the Red Wave placing second in the 200 freestyle (1:43.68), the 500 freestyle (4:47.30), and the 200 individual medley (1:59.28), while Eldreth was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.89).
Also recording a second-place finish was
Hunter Arnold in the 50 freestyle (21.54) and the 100 freestyle (47.30).
The 200 freestyle relay team of
Hunter Arnold,
Colton Laramore,
Erwan Mahoudo and
Caleb Murders would finish the meet with a win by posting a time of 1:25.99.

Lindsey Butler led the Red Wave women by winning two events including the 50 freestyle (25.24) and the 100 butterfly (59.93). Butler also scored in the 100 backstroke by placing second with a time of 1:00.32.
Also winning an event was
Eleonora Unanova in the 200 individual medley by beating the competition in a time of 2:13.10.
Maddie Samples placed second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.59.
