Chris Hawkins scored 20 points and pulled down 8 rebounds to lead Henderson State to a 105-67 win over Dallas Christian, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.
Hawkins was 10-of-12 from the field to lead the Reddies.
Kaylon Tappin and
Ben Marello had 15 points each, while
Toney Foster scored 13 points.
Marello was 6-of-7 from the field and also had eight rebounds.
A total of 12 Reddies put points on the board with
Eric Dailey scoring 9 and
Kyle Murphy 8.
Henderson, 6-2 on the season, connected on 42-of-72 shots from the field for 58 percent shooting while the Crusaders were 25-of-61 for 41 percent.
The Reddies will next play host to Ecclesia on Friday with the first tip in the Duke Wells Center for 7 p.m.
