Kaylon Tappin scored a game-high 29 points to lead Henderson State to a 108-72 beating of Ecclesia, Friday at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.
Five Reddies scored in double-figures with
Eric Dailey totaling 14 points, while
Toney Foster had 12.
Ben Marello added 11 points with
Brad Nairn tallied 10 counters.
Matt Panaggio led Henderson in rebounding having eight boards to go along with nine points.
Henderson State, 7-2 on the year, shot an astonishing 63 percent from the field making 46-of-73 shots from the field.
Tappin was 12-of-17 from the floor with Dailey making 6-of-10 attempts.
The Reddies dominated the inside game scoring 60 points in the points while totaling 37 points off of Ecclesia turnovers.
Henderson will break for the Christmas holiday and return to the court on December 29 when the Reddies travel to Cape Girardeau, Mo. to face Southeast Missouri State in an exhibition game.
