Henderson State shot nearly 60 percent in the second half as the Reddies beat Harding 80-67 in women's basketball action, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.
The win over the Bisons marks the first time since 2006 that Henderson State has recorded a series sweep over Harding. The Reddies won earlier this year 66-62 at Rhodes Field House in Searcy.

Henderson, 12-14 overall and 11-9 in the GAC, began the game on fire making its first seven of eight shots to take an 18-8 advantage as

Brittany Branum and
Haleigh Henson all hit 3-point field goals to spark the Reddies.
The Bisons, however, would go on a 10-1 run to end the first quarter to cut Henderson's lead to 19-18 enter the second quarter.
As hot as Henderson was to begin the game, the Reddies struggled in the second quarter making just 2-of-11 field goals.
Harding would outscore the Reddies 17 to 8 in the quarter to take a 35-27 lead at the break.
The second half belonged to Henderson as the Reddies outscored Harding 25 to 12 in the third quarter to take a 52-47 lead.
Henderson continued its offensive production while play solid defense in the fourth quarter.
The Reddies would make 16-of-27 shots from the field and go a perfect 16-for-16 at the foul line in the half to record the victory.
Dulincia Keener had another double-double scoring 20 points while grabbing 2 rebounds.
Henson totaled 17 points including sinking five 3-point field goals, while Stewart scored 16 points along with six assists.
Branum also finished in double figures with 10 points while collecting four assists.
Henderson State will next play host to Southwestern Oklahoma on Thursday with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.
