Henderson State dropped a pair of games to Arkansas Tech as the No. 6 ranked Golden Suns beat the Reddies 5-0 and 12-4, Saturday in softball action in Russellville.

Arkansas Tech, 18-1 and 8-0 in the Great American Conference, banged out 19 hits in the twin bill.

Henderson, 9-9 and 2-6, collected three hits in the first game with Destiny Garza going 2-for-3.

The Reddies totaled six hits in the finale with Courtney Warren going 2-for-4 and Alexis Morton having a hit and two runs batted in.

The Reddies will be on the road next weekend as Henderson travels to Durant, Okla. for a four-game GAC series with Southeastern Oklahoma beginning Friday at 1 p.m.
