Henderson State went on the road and dropped a pair of games to Southeastern Oklahoma 6-4 and 3-1 is softball action in Durant, Okla.

In the first game of the series, Southeastern used a big fourth-inning to beat the Reddies as the Savage Storm got a three-run homer from Jessica Simmons.

Henderson had the early lead as
Keirsten Seahorn clubbed her third home run of the year which scored
Caroline Cullins who doubled earlier in the inning as the Reddies led 2-0 in the first.

Southeastern would answer with a run in the bottom half of the inning before the big blast by Simmons in the fourth.

The Reddies responded with two runs in the top of the fifth to tie the score at 4-4.

Lakin Wolever would lead off the inning with a double to right field with
Courtney Warren following with a single to put runners on the corners.

A bunt single by
Caroline Cullins scored Wolever to cut the deficit to 4-3. Ashyln White then hit a sharp single to left field to load the bases with no outs.

After Seahorn popped up to third,
Alexia Lopez reached on a base on balls to score a run and tie the score. However, the Reddies were unable to score another run as SOSU pitcher Jessica Seay struck out the next two batters she faced to end the inning.

Southeastern would score a run in the fifth and sixth innings with the help of lead off walks in both frames.

Henderson outhit the Storm 11 to 6 with Warren, Cullins, White, and Seahorn having two hits each.

Henderson State took a 1-0 lead in the first-inning of game two as
Ashlyn White had a RBI double but that was all the runs the Reddies could muster.
The two teams will finish the series with a double-header Saturday at Noon.
