Henderson State swept a double-header from Christian Brothers beating the Buccaneers 13-4 and 7-4, Tuesday in Memphis, Tenn.

In the opener, Henderson banged out 17 hits with Courtney Warren and Caroline Cullins having three hits each.

Every player in the Reddie starting line-up had a hit including Morgan South who was 2-for-3 with four runs scored to go along with a 3-run homer in the first-inning.

Alexis Morton had a home run and a double with four runs batted in, while Ashlyn White was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and Alexia Lopez 2-for-3.

Madison Calvert picked up the win in the circle to improve to 4-6 on the year.

In game two, Henderson trailed 1-0 until White belted a RBI single down the third base line to score Warren and tie the score a 1-1 in the third-inning.

The Reddies took the lead when they loaded the bases and Olivia Trapp reached on a base on balls to plate Cullins who walked earlier in the inning.

CBU regained the lead in the bottom of the inning with three unearned runs, but the Reddies tied the score in the fifth when Tripp hit a sacrifice fly to score Shayla Wright, with South belting a single to force home Keirsten Seahorn who also singled.

The Reddies struck with two outs in the sixth-inning to take a 6-4 lead as White hit a two-run homer to right-centerfield.

Seahorn would follow White with a home run of her own for the final score.

Michelle Sorensen picked up the win going the distance allowing two runs on four hits while striking out two batters.

The Reddies return home for a four-game Great American Conference series beginning with a double-header Friday at 5 p.m. at Dee White Field.
