The win extended Henderson's win streak to eight games with the Reddies improving to 24-19 on the season.
Kris Priddy made his fifth start of the season on the mound for the Reddies and pitched five solid innings to pick up the win and improve to 4-0.
The freshman from Terrell, Texas struck out six batters and allowed four hits.
Blake Patterson worked the next two innings striking out three batters and allowing one hit, while
Jay Hawley pitched the eighth-inning giving up a single.
Nick Vanthillo entered to begin the ninth and retired the Bulldogs in order, recording a strike out while picking up his ninth save of the year.
Both of Henderson's runs came in the first-inning as
Hunter Mayall led off with a single followed by a double to right-center field by
Jordan Taylor to score Mayall from first.
Taylor advanced to third on a ground out by
AJ Kruzel and then scored on a deep sacrifice fly by
Tadarious Hawkins.
Union answered with a run in the second as Bailey Holbrook walked and scored on a double by Zach Phillips.
Mayall had two of Henderson's seven hits, while Tyler Mauzy totaled three hits to lead Union.
Henderson will begin a three-game GAC series on Friday when the Reddies welcome Oklahoma Baptist to Clyde Berry Field with the first pitch set for 6 p.m.
