Henderson State couldn't build off its shutout win on Friday as Southwestern Oklahoma swept a Saturday double-header winning 9-2 and 10-3 to claim the series.
SWOSU, 20-11 overall and 12-6 in the Great American Conference, combined for 24 hits and took advantage of six Reddie errors.
In the opener, Henderson collected just five hits with
Jordan Taylor leading the team with two doubles. Jake Gaul added a double with
Jared Gage adding a triple.
Haden Houska went 4-for-4 at the plate with three RBI to lead the Bulldogs.
In the finale, the Bulldogs built an 8-0 lead through four innings before the Reddies got on the board in the fifth-inning.
Taylor collected his third hit of the day after
Hunter Mayall led off the inning with a walk. Both scored on a two-run triple by
AJ Kruzel. Kruzel scored on a Tadarius Hawkins for Henderson's final run.
Kruzel and Gaul had two hits each to lead the Reddies.
Korbin Polston collected two hits and three RBI for SWOSU.
Henderson State, 16-19 and 11-10 in the GAC, will return home for a three-game series with Northwestern Oklahoma beginning Friday at 6 p.m. at Clyde Berry Field.
