RESULTS
In the final home meet of the year, the Henderson State swim teams recorded wins over Rhodes College on Senior Day as the men won 167.50 to 66.50, while the women raced to a 150 to 110 victory.
Seniors

Colton Holland, Elliott Hill,
Kent Eldreth and
Adam Zmijewski were honored prior to the meet for their hard work and dedication to the Henderson State swim program.
Beginning the meet was the Red Wave women's 400 medley relay team of
Zoe Peak,
Sarah Helton, Anastasiia Manakova,
Maddie Samples swimming to victory in a time of 4:08.49.
Lindsey Butler won three individual events for the Red Wave women claiming victories in the 50 backstroke (28.38), 50 freestyle (24.66), and the 50 butterfly (26.68).
Anastasiia Manakova claimed wins in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:58.11 and the 100 freestyle touching the wall in 54.05.
Jordin Adkins also had a big day placing first in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 19:05.45, and later finishing third in the 100 freestyle (57.97) and third in the 500 freestyle (5:43.51).
Mailin Gupta came in first in the 500 freestyle clocking in at 5:26.40. Gupta also placed third in 50 breaststroke (33.10) and third in the 200 breaststroke (2:34.43).
Winning the 200 backstroke for Henderson was
Eleonora Unanova in first in a time of 2:11.37. Unanova was also third in 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.46.
Zoe Peak finished second in a pair of events including the 50 backstroke (29.52) and the 200 backstroke (2:18.83).
Sarah Helton placed second in both the 50 breaststroke (32.47) and the 200 breaststroke (2:32.55), while Kristin McCasland was second in 50 butterfly (28.08) and
Grace Conlon second in 1650 freestyle (19:15.70).
Also scoring was
Maddie Samples who was second in the 100 freestyle (56.46) and third in the 50 freestyle (25.70).
Rachel Ferguson won the 1-meter diving event scoring 204.30 points.
On the men's side, the 400 medley relay team of
Garrett Sullivan,
Garrett Duncan,
Hunter Arnold, and Dima Bokankhel recording a time of 3:35.52 to place first.
Colton Laramore led the Red Wave winning the 200 freestyle (1:44.49) and the 500 freestyle (4:53.99), while placing second in 50 freestyle (22.49).
Erwan Mahoudo won two freestyle events including the 1650 freestyle (16:49.97) and the 100 freestyle (48.80), with
Hunter Arnold winning the 200 freestyle (1:51.05) and the 50 butterfly (23.88).
Drew Lauth came in first in the 50 backstroke (25.31) and was second in the 1650 freestyle (15:11.51), with
Dani Bronshtein winning the 200 backstroke (2:03.28) and placing third in the 50 backstroke (26.39).
Kent Eldreth also claimed a win in the 50 breaststroke (28.27) and was second in the 50 butterfly (23.91).
Winning the 200 butterfly was
Garrett Sullivan with a time of 2:00.94 and later finished second in the 500 freestyle (5:19.43).
Numerous other Red Wave members scored in the meet including
Caleb Murders who was second in the 200 freestyle (1:45.63) and third in the 50 butterfly (24.35), while
Colton Holland was third in the 200 breaststroke (2:32.22) and second in the 200 individual medley in (2:06.10).
Mark Billeaud swam the 50 backstroke and placed second with a time of 26.13, Josh Sorvillo was second in the 200 backstroke (2:03.94), and
Garrett Duncan placing second in the 200 breaststroke in the (2:13.34).
The Red Wave will next be in action on Friday when Henderson ventures across Highway 7 on Friday to face Ouachita Baptist.
