COMPLETE RESULTS
For the second time this season the Henderson State men's and women's swim teams beat the University of the Ozarks with the women winning 143-63 and the men swimming to victory by a score of 126-83.
Elza Kachliishvili led the Red Wave women by winning four individual events.
Kachliishvili opened with a win in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:08.74 then claimed victory in the 50 breaststroke by touching the wall in 30.90.
In the 100 butterfly, Kachliishvili posted a time of 1:03.71 and finished the day with a win in the 100 individual medley with a mark of 1:02.67.
Ohemaa Barnes also had a big day with a win in the 50 butterfly (29.47), the 500 freestyle (6:03.57) and second-place finishes in the 200 freestyle (2:16.16) and the 50 breaststroke (34.90).
Lindsey Lucas claimed victory in the 100 backstroke (1:06.15) and the 100 breaststroke (1:15.76), while
Samantha Harris won the 100 freestyle (1:04.26).
Henderson won both relay events with the foursome of Lucas, Kaschliishvili, Barnes and Harris swimming to victory in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:00.81.
Kaschliishvili, Harris, Barnes and
Aubry Owen finished the meet with a win in the 299 freestyle relay having a time of 1:53.11.
Corbin Greening led the Red Wave men by winning three events including the 50 breaststroke (31.22), 50 backstroke (25.82), and the 100 individual medley (57.94)
Alec Adams won both the 100 butterfly (54.67) and 50 butterfly (24.69), while McAllister Pritchett swam to victory in the 50 freestyle (25.94).
In the 200 medley relay, the quartet of
Will Dubrowski,
Arden Manuel,
Corbin Greening, and Alex Adams clocked in with a winning time of 1:47.95.
Adams, Greening, Dubrowski and Pritchett teamed to win the finale event, the 200 freestyle relay, having a time of 1:36.16.
The Red Wave will now prepare for the New South Intercollegiate Swimming Conference Championships beginning February 21.
