ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Henderson State plays host to the No. 15 team in the country on Thursday night when the Reddies welcome Southern Nazarene to the Duke Wells Center with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.
Thursday night's game is the annual "Coaches vs. Cancer" contest for the men's program. Donation buckets will be set up at the front entrances as the men's team partners with the American Cancer Society to fight cancer on the court.

The men will be participating in the CVC "Three-Point Challenge" during the month of February and fans can pledge online to give for every 3-pointer the Reddies make throughout the last five games of the season.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson (12-6, 7-5) is looking to rebound from an 82-63 loss at East Central last Thursday night. The Reddies struggled from the field on the road, especially in the second half, where they hit on just two of their first 19 shots to start the period.
- The Reddies hung with the defending league champions the last time they met Southern Nazarene on Jan. 5 in Bethany, Oklahoma. HSU tied the game with the Crimson Storm with 10 minutes to go before SNU pulled away late to win it 84-72 on its home floor.
- HSU boasts the fifth-best scoring offense in the GAC (74.8 points per game) and the fourth-best field goal percentage defense (41.9 percent shooting for opponents). The Reddies are the second-best rebounding team in the league and pull down an average of 37.8 boards per game in conference play.

Rel Johnson is 16th in the GAC in points per game (13.1), while
Mike Fofana is fifth in the league in rebounds per game (7.7).

Raekwon Rogers is one of just three players in the conference with 50 or more offensive rebounds this year. Rogers has 52 on the season - the second-most in the league.
- Henderson (12-6, 7-5) has won three-straight games at the Duke Wells Center and has a 7-1 record at home this season. The Reddies lone loss came back on Dec. 15 to UAM.
SCOUTING SOUTHERN NAZARENE
- Southern Nazarene is 17-3 on the season and 10-2 in GAC play. The Crimson Storm were ranked as the No. 15 team in the country in the latest NABC Coaches Poll and have been as high as No. 4 this year.
- SNU is coming off of a big win over No. 22 Southern Arkansas last week, which saw the Crimson Storm race past the league front-runners 73-54 in the first-ever meeting between two ranked GAC teams. SNU has won eight of its last nine games, including its last five in a row.
- Junior guard Jhonathan Dunn, the reigning GAC Player of the Year, leads SNU in scoring (18.1 points per game) and had 27 in the first matchup with Henderson.
- SNU is the top defensive team in the GAC this season and has the league's best scoring defense (64.9 points per game) and field goal percentage defense (39.7 percent).
