DAY FOUR FINAL RESULTS
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Henderson State Red Wave swimming programs finished off 2021 with a pair of third-place finishes at the DSU Christmas Invite at Delta St. in Cleveland, Mississippi.
Triston Little and
Ceci Magnani started the evening session with finishes of 16:13.47 and 18:38.28 in the 1650 free for sixth place and seventh, respectively. In the 200 backstroke,
Marcus Hernandez and
Emma Jorgensen each finished in sixth with times of 1:58.01 and 2:06.49, respectively.
Both men and women had a swimmer register a sixth place finish in the 200 yard butterfly with
Jase Pinckney for the men logging a finals time of 1:58.07 and
Isabelle Andrews touching the wall at 2:13.71.
Oscar Patten also claimed a fifth-place finish for the men in the 100 free (45.76).
Henderson State closed out the four day tournament with each relay team on either side logging a Top-3 finish, three individual Top-5 finishes, a second-place finish and a first-place nod. The Red Wave will return to Cleveland, Mississippi, Jan. 8 when HSU swims against Delta St. in a head-to-head meet.
