RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas –
Mulan Kamoe improved to 3-1 at the No. 1 singles position while Henderson State fell to Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Arkansas, 6-1. The Reddies will face the Golden Suns again in what will be a conference match in the final home match of the season.

After HSU failed to pick up a doubles match, Kamoe responded with her third straight-set singles victory of the season, defeating Tech's Lea Grinberg, 6-2, 6-2, moving her singles record to 3-1. The victory comes six days after defeating the No. 31 ranked singles player in the nation. Â

The Reddies had two other matches go the distance, as both
Tirzah Bailey and Danna Nunez won their respective first sets, 6-4 and 6-1, respectively, before eventually falling in three.

Henderson St. (1-3) will head to Clarksville, Arkansas, for its next match when it plays at the University of the Ozarks Thursday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. Â Â
