ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – In what would have been Henderson State's first home match since Feb. 13, the Natural State's unpredictable weather refused to cooperate, moving the match against Northwest Missouri State to Ouachita Baptist's indoor facility, where the Reddies fell to the Bearcats, 4-0.
 
With NWMSU having already played Ouachita Baptist that morning, the match was played until it was clinched. With the No. 8 and 10 preseason ranked singles players in the region, the Bearcats swept through doubles before defeating the Reddies' Nos. 1, 3 and 4 to claim the 4-0 victory.
 
Mulan Kamoe went up against the No. 8 singles player in the region in Vera Alenicheva, suffering only her second loss of the season at the top spot. Georjemah Row, after falling in the first set of her respective match, found herself ahead 4-3 in the second before the match was called.
 
Henderson St. (1-4) will return to the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center, weather permitting, this Sunday, Mar. 13 when Missouri Western St. comes to Arkadelphia for an 11 a.m. match.
