The Great American Conference announced its postseason tennis awards on Friday, and multiple Henderson State Reddies received accolades.
Sophomore Emilia Nowak was named GAC Newcomer of the Year and was a unanimous first team All-GAC honoree. The Poznan, Poland native was dominant in the No. 2 position for the Reddies this season, recording a 13-3 overall record. Nowak recorded wins against Angelo State and Northwestern Missouri State, both of which are nationally ranked, as well as going undefeated in GAC play. In doubles, Nowak went 11-7 with partner Jordan Parker as the top duo for Henderson State, leading a Reddie squad that only lost as a team in doubles three times all season.
Joining Nowak on the All-GAC first team are Senior Kristina Kozlova and Sophomore Angela Dorado Marin. Kozlova earns her third consecutive first team All-GAC honors, after a season where she faced tough competition as the No. 1 singles player for Henderson State. Kozlova went 7-8 as the top player for the Reddies, but earned some key victories during the season. Kozlova earned a win against Northwest Missouri State's top player, who's team is ranked 40th in the nation. Kozlova also continued her dominance against Ouachita, going 2-0 in 2026 and 8-2 in her career.
Marin earned her first All-GAC first team honors after a season where she earned GAC player of the week once. In singles, Marin boasted an 8-7 record in primarily the No. 4 spot. Where Marin truly shined was in doubles, paired with Kozlova. The two first team honorees went 11-2 as a duo in the No. 3 position. As a duo, Kozlova and Marin secured key wins against top opponents, including Mississippi College, Central Oklahoma, Missouri Western State, and Angelo State, all ranked opponents. Kozlova and Marin also went undefeated in GAC play in doubles play.
Jordan Parker was named to the second team All-GAC squad, after a season where Parker went 12-5 in singles play at the No. 5 spot, including a win against ranked Central Oklahoma, and went undefeated in GAC play. Parker combined with Nowak
went 11-7 as the top duo for Henderson State, leading a Reddie squad that only lost as a team in doubles three times all season.
The Reddies also represented academically, as Nowak, Kozlova, Marin, Parker, Lily Winter, Jenna Kate Bohnert and Lainey Mungle were all named to the GAC Academic Honor Roll. All athletes with at least a 3.5 GPA and a minimum of one year of full-time college residency are eligible for this honor.
