SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Henderson State volleyball team falls to Oklahoma Baptist on the road 3-0.

Christiane Uzoh led the Reddies' attack with eight kills and tallied four total blocks.
Larkin Luke matched Uzoh's four total blocks and had the second most kills with three. Â The team finished with nine blocks and forced 25 attack errors by the Bison.

HSU (7-11, 1-5) will stay in the Sooner State to battle Southern Nazarene University Friday at 4 p.m. in the Sawyer Center.

SET ONE
OBU struck first, scoring the first two points of the set, though HSU quickly responded by tying the frame, 2-2. The Bisons outscored the Reddies 6-1 to create some separation, leading 7-3, and continued to add to their advantage, up 13-5. Oklahoma Baptist kept up the scoring and took an early match advantage, winning the set 25-12.

SET TWO
The Bison opened the scoring by taking an early 3-1 lead. After a flurry of attacks from Oklahoma Baptist, Henderson found themselves down 15-7. OBU continued the scoring, taking a ten-point lead, up 22-12.

An eight-point run by the Reddies brought the team within striking distance of the Bison, down 22-20, forcing OBU to call a timeout. Out of the timeout, OBU scored three points to close the set, 25-20, ending HSU's late rally.

SET THREE
A quick start to the set by OBU, scoring five points before Henderson scored its first point. The Bison, up 8-2, scored in flurries to take a 15-9 lead. The Reddies responded by outscoring OBU 5-1 to trail by two, 16-14.

The two sides went back and forth, but the Bisons still held a slight advantage at 22-19. A pair of errors by Henderson at the end gave Oklahoma Baptist set victory, 25-20.Â
