On day two of the tournament, Aleah Stonger and Maddison Hatt both recorded a double-double for a second consecutive day. Stogner led the team in kills, with day two accumulating 22.

The Reddies (4-5, 0-0) return to action on the road against Harding in their first GAC game of the season on Sept. 6. The first serve starts at 6 p.m.

After a time-out from the Thorobreds, the Reddies' attack continued to score points, jumping to  21-9, outscoring their opponents 9-5. Henderson, in complete control, cursed to a 25-14 set win.

SET TWO
Picking up where they left off in set one, Henderson raced to a 6-1 lead, but a 7-4 run from the Thorobreds quickly closed the gap. Still in command, 10-8, HSU kept a slim advantage over KSU through the set.

Four kills in set two for Stogner helped secure a 25-21 victory for the Reddies. The Thorobreds did not do themselves any favors with a handful of errors, leading to HSU points.

SET THREE
The Reddies raced to an 8-3 lead, continuing their strong attacking performance in match three of the tournament. KSU soon found themselves down 19-9, and in a blink of an eye, the Reddies were up 23-9 after a pair of kills from Andrea Roland and a kill for Carson Edwards. A dominant performance in set three from Henderson, winning 25-11.
