FINAL 2023 AFCA DIVISION II TOP-25 POLL

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State, who won nine games this fall and made its first NCAA Division II Playoff appearance since 2015, ended the year ranked No. 24 in the final AFCA Poll of the 2023 season.

The Reddies' last finished inside the Top-25 in 2015 when they won the GAC title and captured the program's first playoff victory to end the year ranked No. 12 nationally. 

Henderson's 2023 campaign was the program's seventh season with nine or more wins since 2012 and was highlighted by a 31-27 victory over Ouachita in the 96th Battle of the Ravine. The rivalry win propelled the Reddies into the NCAA Playoffs for fourth time in school history.

HSU returns 16 starters, eight on both sides of the ball, in 2024.
