After the Reddies won the first two sets of the match, the Crimson Storm rallied to claim the final three sets and the victory.

In the first set, reigning GAC Offensive Player of the Week
Katilyn Steffes totaled six kills and an ace, leading the Reddies to a 25-18 win.
Madison Hatt contributed eight assists during the set.

In what proved to be a contentious second set, the Reddies and Crimson Storm found themselves tied 13 different times. Leading 22-20 and coming back from a SNU timeout, HSU kept its foot on the pedal to finish off a 25-22 set victory. Steffes and Hatt posted a combined 15 points for the Reddies in the set. Senior
Larkin Luke added four kills, giving her a .333 hit percentage through two sets.

After finding its offensive groove in the third set, the Crimson Storm rattled off three straight set wins to pick up the conference victory at home.

Steffes found success with a match-high 24.5 points and 13 digs. Hatt added a season-high 32 assists, while sophomore
Kaylon Partain finished with a match-high 27 digs.

The Reddies return to action in less than 24 hours looking in a road match against Oklahoma Baptist. The contest will begin tomorrow, October 11, at 4:00 p.m. in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
